We planned to go to Ameenpur lake again and this time we followed google maps to the “Ameenpur lake birding spot for water birds”.

It was a bit of an adventure to get to the place, but it was worth it as it had some great spots to see birds. We had a better vantage point to see a lot of water birds and I spent quite some time just observing the birds and their activities.

In addition to the water birds, there were quite a few other species. There were a couple of Asian green bee eater flitting between a shrub and a boulder. I wanted to take a picture of them in flight and it took a lot of patience and lot of attempts to get the pictures.

One response to “Ameenpur Lake Birding Spot”
Great photos . Bird watching requires not only great patience but also perseverance to shoot the pictures. For me it is a learning experience in the sense that I see lots of birds but can neither identify them by their names or observe the minute details in the hidden colours in the feathers. The birds in flight are amazing. Keep posting the new ‘discoveries’ and good luck in spotting new birds.
