My interest in bird watching started with COVID. I have lived in the same house for over 15 years and didn’t realize the beauty of nature around me. During the hectic work schedules, taking a few minutes of break, and relaxing to the sound of nature, started a curiosity to know about them. And that is how my interest in birdwatching started. I became interested in birds, curious about their names, the sounds they make, and what they ate.
Red-vented Bulbul, Coppersmith Barbet and Purple Sunbird – these are the three birds that sparked my interest in bird watching.

Now, my weekends involve bird watching at home or in and around the city. My trips involve bird-watching activities and have made me connect with our beautiful planet.
